This is the true story of a man's journey through life and his will to survive his childhood
torment: the remembrance of a tragic event of a two-year-old baby, whose mother died shortly after child birth, leaving his
father to raise him, witnessing his father's murder, and at this time also being a victim of attempted murder, and later
of kidnapping.
Born to a well to do family, he was taken away in one terrible day over forty years ago, this
potential life being over before it had really began.
Kidnapped and eventually making his way into the foster-system, he lost his birth-name, birthright,
and all ties to any of his family. All alone he was thrust into a system he didn't understand.
He was basically given a garbage bag to carry what little he had, being torn from home to home
and enduring the good with the very, very bad, in settings where verbal abuse and beatings were common-place. He
was labeled a "foster-child" at school persecuted and ridiculed for being a throw-away child.
The balance of this life-story depicts overcoming each new obstacle, which obstacle is compounded
by the effects of early emotional and physical trauma.
The reason for writing my
book
This book is my autobiography, and how I have overcome the obstacles placed before me. I have written it in
hope that it can be used as an example of courage and determination for those of us who have grown- up in less than perfect
homes. My hope is that you keep going no matter how many times life knocks you to the ground. I dedicate this book
to those who are hurting and have hidden there feelings deep within themselves, which has caused them to be all
but paralyzed throughout their lives.
